to the Heart of the Amazon This explores some of the most untouched rainforest
in all of the Amazon. On the Motor Yacht Tucano we venture
far up the Rio Negro visiting several different kinds of rainforest
along the way. Near the end of the trip we enter the Amazon River
itself. We see amazingly colorful birds, magnificent trees draped
with vines and covered with orchids and occasional monkeys chattering

Amazon Odyssey explores the two different worlds of the Amazon:
the timeless wilderness rainforests of the Rio Negro and the
vibrant forests of the Amazon River, teeming with life. These
are the most storied rivers in all of the Amazon and on our journey
we will experience the sharp contrasts of the two largest rivers
in the world.

 Trip: Amazon Camping!:
Our small group uses which weave deep into the rainforest along
the narrow forest streams overhanging with vines. We camp every
evening in our airy tents and wake to the sounds of howler monkeys.
We walk in the forest during the day observing plant and animal
life. Amazon Nature Tours provides top notch equipment, staff
(including the cook!) and very good food (our ice chests ensure
that we will have fresh food for the full length of the trip).
In addition to wildlife observation by day and night, we also
