The daughter of Zeus, the goddess Artemis is a friend to mortals, and dances through the countryside in her silver sandals giving her divine protection to the wild beasts. She rides her silver chariot across the sky and shoots her arrows of silver Moonlight to the earth below.

The M/V Artemis is designed to be the most comfortable and the most ecologically advanced small cruise vessel in the Amazon. The vessel will employ advanced environmental systems that enable her to explore wilderness areas without disturbing the sensitive natural environment.

Designed in the style of the 19th Century steamer, The M/V Artemis has the classic elegance and comfort of a bygone era. The cabins are spacious and are outside cabins. There are large windows, private baths with hot water, and lovely finish details from the height of the age of steam.

With her shallow draft the vessel will be able to navigate deep into the remote waterways of the Amazon where the magnificent rainforest is still pristine and where wildlife still abounds. Projected to go into service the middle of 2010, the M/V Artemis will explore the remote Amazon rainforest in comfort, elegance, and style.
